Nero 9 Recode problems with m2ts

I've tried importing an m2ts stream from a blu-ray disc to Nero Recode. I've tried Nero Recode 3 (shipped with Nero 8) and the new Nero Recode that ships with Nero 9 and the same problems appear. I try to post here since the Nero support is useless (more or less, sorry) so I hope anyone can help me. 1) It seems to pick a random audiotrack when I add the m2ts file and the other audiotracks are not visible. Workaround? 2) No subtitles are detected. Is this a limitation in Nero recode or just a bug? 3) Nero Recode 9 says the resolution of the movie is like 720x480 which of course is wrong(?) since It's a blu-ray movie. Nero Recode (that comes with Nero 9, that seems to lack a versionnumber), also wants me to buy a plugin to be able to process the m2ts file, however, all it does is to link me to the online store and never tells me which plugin to get. Wierd. Anyone with experience of recoding m2ts to mp4 with Nero Recode and got it to work properly?

i haven't tried m2ts from bluray in recode lately, but you will most likely need the blur-ray plugin to have any hope of it working correctly.

One thing you might want to try first is to strip out the unwanted streams using tsmuxer. It might be finding the 720x480 video stream that's usually in the BD stream.
