Srs sensor

A disc in my multi player (hu803) got stuck and had to take the player out to un stick it. easy by just removing the top cover! But had to take out the Climate control and built in phone too. Whilst these were out the "Urgent service for SRS" came on along with the red triangle in the dash. According to the hand book theres a sensor for the SRS in the centre console, Anybody know where? and if I unplug it and plug it back in again will it get rid of the fault??

You must disconnect the battery before removing the centre console. sorry, no, unplugging/plugging it back in won't make any difference. A dealer check of the SRS system and reset is required. Vipes

Make sure you leave battery disconnected for atleast 10 mins before doing any work on ECC panel

I think there should be a sticky for this, probably 50% of noobs first contribution is exactly this problem as they never search before removing large lumps of dashboard, putting it at the top might help.
