Can I make separate CD tracks in burn to disc?

We produce radio shows. Normally we do one show per PT session. But we'd like to do multiple shows in one session and then burn all at once into separate mix files to avoid the hassle of open session, burn to disc, close session, open session, burn to disc, close session, blah blah blah. Is there any kind of "marker" we can put in a session to separate different sections of the project so when we burn to disc they will become individual CD tracks? Thanks SV

You can certainly create more than one show in a single document. You still have to bounce as separate files. You can highlight an individual section and just bounce that portion into a folder. You cannot pre-define(ID)sections, map them to different locations and bounce all at one time, but at least you can avoid having to open up multiple sessions.

Okay, I know I can select and section and bounce that, however I'd like to give one BOUNCE TO DISC command and end out with multiple sections done at the same time as separate tracks. Does the method you describe do that?

You cannot "batch" bounce.

Bounce it all, then take it into something like Peak. There you can define regions that will become CD tracks. I do this every week for a radio program, except I'm cutting up the show into seperate tracks. So I create a region that's the whole show, the break out the sections into regions. I sequence and gap the regions in the playlist editor and burn. It's pretty darn quick. If you've got a PC SoundForge's CD Architect does this even slicker. Jt
