DAW error with the UAD-1. Help!!!

I just picked up the UAD-1 project pack yesterday and I installed it successfully.....however, I keep getting the following error while using the UAD-1 plugs..."DAE ran out of time while sending audio over the PCI bus. Try reducing number of tracks, or using a playback engine with fewer voices per DSP (-6042)". I've set the MIN_GNT setting for the UAD-1 at 64 like they suggested for the Digi001, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. And it doesn't seem to make a difference what my Pro Tools buffer is set at. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Here is what I'm using: Apple G4 400Mhz 704Meg RAM Pro Tools LE 6.4 OS 10.3.3

steve can you give more info what PTLE version are you using and what version of the UAD 1 and the VST2RTAS also what OS are you running ? are you trying to put this plugins on while playing back audio I found out the hard way to only apply plugins when audio is stopped you say your buffer size does not matter what is it set to ? what is your pro tools and UAD 1 cpu meters set to ?

Your post does not specify if your G4/400 is an AGP or PCI graphics machine. If it is a PCI graphics G4, there may be too much traffic on the PCI bus for the system to handle. This may or may not have any relevance, but I thought I'd just mention it.

I am using an AGP graphics machine....ATY Rage 128 Pro to be exact. So I don't think that is causing the problem.....but thanks for the input.
