Scary thing about the Reaper user community - you don't know you're a member until it's too late to get out :p

Drama queen much? Good grief! I have gone back through your post history...about 90% negative complaining and "poor me" commenting. Others have no problem asking even the silliest of questions on this forum and they get so many valid and honestly helpful replies. You didn't even give anyone a chance to help you before going into the negative drama. Stop throwing a fit and ask your questions...or don't, and just go quietly. But, please try to be an adult, at least.

It sounds like you want that system Captain Picard had in that Star Trek TNG episode where he was trying to record something on that flute thing in his quarters. Reaper isn't quite up to that speed yet... You're gonna have to learn how to use a few keyboard commands and get a workflow going. It will take time and effort - not unlike practicing an instrument. :D

I don't think the solutions to your problems can be found in a DAW or in a DAW-community. The world is big. Try someplace else. Good luck.

karbo I didnt realize you were a programmer;we support reaps philosophy unequivicolly you tried to do the right things and trolls just fundimentally misrepresent everything you represent .I understand your frustrations; Im in the same situation its a shame your non-pro technical class cant follow your example and enagage w actual musicains to produce marketable and relevant music we tried to appoligize but there is nothing to appoligize for really you have a whole class in yr user base failing to contribute meaningfully and lowering the level of discoarse around here to hostility go yell at them thread was a good object lesson We were enjoying the irony haveing of the typical musician/noob experience failing to find a way to engage, being unable to communicate w geniuses, and getting yelled out of forumsabout it For the sake of your own sanity stop responding to threads like these they just escalate situations(*thread is now toxic)
