I just did an install on a machine that had the date set wrong, and PT said that the free BF plugs couldn't be used because they expire on July 17. Digi, why are they set to expire, and will newer versions be released without an expiration date? It's cool that they released free plugs, but it's a bit scary that they will suddenly become unusable without warning.
Hi, Evidently the seven FREE Bomb Factory Plug-ins are time bombed, we will have an updated version posted for you before July 17th that will remove the time bomb. Thanks For you patience with this issue, Digidesign Tech Support
Digi, its more than just the Free plugins. I changed the date on my computer and here is what I have that was also expired and wouldn't load. BF-3A Fairchild 660 Fairchild 670 Joemeek SC2 Joemeek VC5 moogerfooger Analog Delay moogerfooger Lowpass moogerfooger Phaser moogerfooger Ring Mod Pultec Bundle Purple MC77 SansAmp Tel-Ray Voce Bundle Yeah, thats all of them. Thanks to Mike for finding this before we ran into a big problem.
Which versions are you running? Have you gone to the Plug-ins list via the main (->Developers->Plug-in Info) web site and redownloaded them from there (not from the downloads section)... do they still have the time bomb? Rail
